Terroir to the max!
It is difficult to find a greater perfectionist among Moravian winemakers-naturalists than Jiří Šebela, the founder of Dva duby winery. His exceptionally characteristic wines from Kounice vineyards set on a granodiorite subsoil of volcanic origin are among the most distinctive that can be tasted in Moravia. Even at the first scent of his wines, you feel an unmistakable imprint of place. Jiří works on a few hectares cultivated without herbicides and pesticides. His wines mature only in wooden barrels of oak and acacia, only with a few milligrams of sulphites added before bottling.
