Domaine de Majas

Majas is associated with the name Alain Carrere, who took over the domain in 1992. Initially, these were conventional wines sold to large supermarket chains. After some time, thanks to the neighbors from Domaine Matassa, Alain embarked on a less explored but the more fun natural path, and it was none other than the legendary Tom Lubbe who did the consulting on topic.

So here, between the Pyrenees, Corbieres and Maury, on 30 hectares, wines of a unique style and character are produced, which are also ideal for those who are just starting out with natural wines. The cool wind "La Tramontane" helps to achieve good acidity in this traditionally warm region and gives the  varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Chenin Blanc the perfect drinkability and lightness that we enjoy so much.
