Chardonnay Gavèl from Cros des Calades comes from organically farmed vineyards in the Rhône Valley. It opens with aromas of white blossoms and citrus zest. On the palate, it’s clean and refreshing, with balanced acidity and a subtle mineral finish. A refined, expressive Chardonnay for lovers of elegance and purity.
Cros des Calades is a new project from Florence and Benoît of Château de la Selve. Based in Grospierres, they vinify grapes from five organically farmed plots in the southern Rhône Valley. Their philosophy remains the same as at Château de la Selve – maximum respect for terroir and minimal intervention in the cellar. The wines are light, playful, and approachable – from reds and whites to rosés, including both classic and pink Pet-Nats.
