Domaine Eric Thill - Chardonnay Préfleur 2019
Jura | white, dry |
Complex Chardonnay with notes of ripe fruit, vanilla, and subtle minerality.
Chardonnay Préfleur is made from carefully selected grapes from mature vineyards. The aroma offers notes of ripe apples, pears, vanilla, and subtle toast. This wine is full-bodied, with a creamy texture, balanced acidity, and a long mineral finish.

Eric Thill has had wine in his blood since childhood. Coming from a winemaking family, he grew up at the foot of Schlossberg. In 2007, he and his wife moved from Haut-Rhin to the Jura and started from scratch, building a winery of their own – except for one 2.76-hectare plot they purchased. The estate has been certified organic (Ecocert) since 2015 and is moving toward biodynamics. Today, they farm 5.8 hectares planted with Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, and Pinot Noir, using gentle vineyard practices like selective weeding and canopy management.
