Domaine Begude sits high in the hills of Limoux, at the foothills of the Pyrenees, where vineyards at around 400 metres benefit from fresh mountain air. The cooler climate and wide day to night temperature swings give the wines their energy, tension and elegance. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir show here that even the south of France can be refined, precise and beautifully subtle. Organic farming is the baseline, and in the cellar the approach stays hands-off, letting the wines speak for themselves. The result is clean, vibrant wines that are easy to enjoy from the very first sip.
