Andi Weigand - Rosé 2024
Franken | rosé, dry |
A rosé with character – strawberries, herbs, a hint of citrus, and untamed energy.
Andi Weigand’s Rosé 2024 is anything but a shy pink. This cuvée bursts with aromas of fresh strawberries, redcurrants, and subtle herbs. On the palate, it’s juicy, with zesty acidity, a light citrus twist, and a textured mouthfeel from several months on the lees. Slightly hazy, straight to the point, and full of energy from the very first sip.

Andi is a charismatic youngster from Iphofen, Germany.
He took over the family winery in 2015 and converted everything into 100% natural heaven. The vibrant energy and playfulness of his wines is over the top, for a more visual acquaintance we recommend to take a look at his instagram, it's really worth it! How could Andi's winemaking be described in a few words? An old press, no sulfur or filtration, limestone and marl, big barrels and an even bigger heart.
