Orange wines from the Pinot Gris are very interesting, on the one hand because of the naturally high color given through the skins, and also because of the pleasant aroma and taste with just the right amount of acid. This one is ready to drink, but after one year or more it will be even better.

Tomáš is a real son of Mělník region, his family settled here several generations ago. You can meet his ancestors also on expressive labels of his wine. He started as an importer of wines many years ago and was influenced by few natural winemakers. His wines get better every vintage and the winery shows a lot of potential. Maceration on skins, aging in barrels or amphorae are typical traits of his playful production. All this happens on marl soil called opuka, typical for Mělník region north and northwest from Prague. It gives great saltiness to his wines! Tomáš works with Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Kerner, Dornfelder, Blauer Portugieser and Hibernal. Gotta try!
